L.A. Guns is an American hard rock band formed in 1983, notable for being staples of the Sunset Strip scene and for guitarist Tracii Guns‘s role in the formation of Guns N’ Roses. The band, which features a gritty, glam-punk sound, is best known for hits like “The Ballad of Jayne” and platinum-selling albums L.A. Guns (1988) and Cocked & Loaded (1989).
