Ozzy Osbourne

(1948–2025), widely known as the “Prince of Darkness” and the “Godfather of Heavy Metal,” was a pioneering English vocalist who rose to global fame as the lead singer of Black Sabbath. After being fired from the band in 1979 due to substance abuse, he launched a massive solo career, selling over 100 million albums combined. He died on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76 following a heart attack.
