Senior Day At Wushack Gyro King
Senior Day At Wushack Gyro King
I am currently working on a senior day for people 65 and older, this event will be held every Friday from 10:00 am Until 2:00 Pm. I am currently talking to a local business to allow Gyro King to set up every Friday, it’s a prime location and it looks promising to happen by next Friday June 19, 2026.
Gyro King will be offering a 20% discount to all seniors over 65 on Gyro King Senior Day, Police and Firefighters will receive a 15% discount and a 10% discount for city workers on Gyro King Senior Day. Veterans receive a 10% discount everyday.
Gyro King will be serving lunch 10:00 am Until 2:00 pm every Friday at a undisclosed place at this time but I will update the location and the company as soon as they give me the ok, the location is actually already confirmed I am only waiting on their permission to add their company name to the event Gyro King Senior Day. I should have the answer to that question by Monday June 15, 2026, at that time I will begin promoting this new event with the location and times.
this is what’s on the lunch menu. below is our lunch menu, Seniors can deduct 20% off these prices, Police and Firefighters can deduct 15%, City Workers can deduct 10% and Veterans can always deduct 10%.

will be serving breakfast and lunch all day at Oak Ridge High School Saturday Flea Market starting at 7:00 am until 1:00 pm Saturday June 13 2026,
for our breakfast menu we will have sausage egg and cheese biscuits, bacon egg and cheese biscuits, biscuits and gravy, potato cakes, you can also build your own breakfast with potato cakes, bacon or sausage, eggs, biscuits, jelly upon request.
for our lunch menu we have gyros, burgers, coneys dogs, french fries, deserts are ice cream cones and packaged ice cream bars, assorted drinks, Gatorade,sports drinks, Tropicana, barrel and many flavors. come on out and enjoy an evening with your pets and friends.

Oak Ridge celebrates its annual Independence Day Concert and Fireworks at A.K. Bissell Park (1403 Oak Ridge Turnpike) on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The event marks the 250th Anniversary of American Independence, with the Oak Ridge Community Band performing at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks starting at dark (around 9:45 p.m.). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Key Event Details
Time: Music begins at 7:30 p.m.; Fireworks launch at approximately 9:45 p.m.
Location: A.K. Bissell Park; the fireworks will be launched from across the street at Oak Ridge High School.
Cost: Free to attend, though donations are accepted to help cover the band’s equipment and expenses.

Viewing & Parking Tips
Seating: Bring lawn chairs or blankets. All of A.K. Bissell Park will be open to the public.
Music Sync: The pyrotechnics soundtrack will be broadcast live on Merle FM 96.7.
Parking: Parking is available at Oak Ridge High School. Parking is not allowed along the Oak Ridge Turnpike right-of-way, and attendees are reminded not to park on private property without permission. [1]
